Portrait of Daniela Gómez Murillo

I am Daniela, a Service Designer & design researcher

Designing services that work for people and organizations.

Service designer and design researcher, bringing 10 years of public policy experience to design services that work for people and institutions. I design solutions for complex systems, connecting human needs with organizational, institutional, and operational realities.

I use human-centered research, systems thinking, co-design, and rapid prototyping to turn complex challenges into actionable strategies, services, and tangible solutions.

I bring 10 years of experience designing and delivering solutions across public policy, economic development, and global operations. Before formally training in design, I worked across government, multinational corporations, and cross-sector ecosystems, building the strategic, analytical, and implementation experience that now informs my design practice.

At the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design (CIID), I added human-centered research, co-design, systems thinking, and rapid prototyping to this foundation, allowing me to move from understanding complex systems to designing and testing interventions within them.
